Also, the transgendered Ultimate Spiderwoman dated Johnny Storm - Since she's got an exact copy of Peter Parker's mind, wouldn't that make him bisexual?

It's been heavily hinted that Wonder Woman is bisrxual, and stated that Fire (Beatriz DaCosta) has/had romantic feelings for her then deceased teammate, Tora Olafsdotter

Glad to see SIP on the list, If you're including other graphic novels, maybe add D'Mer and Reiken (among others - lots of "Everyone Is Bi"-ness) of A Distant Soil. Bast is a shapechanger who presents through most of the series as female, but changes genders based on situation and love, so the character reads as transgender or genderqueer.

Also, Elfquest, although they have a sad tendency to kill off the explicitly gay male pairings (2 for 2, by my count). In the original 8-10 book canon (depending on who's counting), you have a canon "Everyone Is Bi" vibe: Cutter and Skywise; Pike, Krim, and Scot (a permanent bi M/M/F threesome pairing... come to think of it, Scot, the second male in the threesome died too - DAMMIT, WARP!); Cutter, Nightshade, and Redlance (another M/M/F threesome); Leetah and Nightshade (F/F); and so on...

Your missing spider-women from the Ultimate Universe.

She is a female clone of Peter Parker who remembers her life as a man and at least when first introduced still has feelings for MJ.

So i think that counts as transgendered.

A relatively new gay character is closeted Det. Dedalus in Peter Milligan's Greek Street (Vertigo). There are scenes of he & his partner in the last few issues. Unfortunately, this title seems to be hanging under the radar & there is little out there in the way of links.

Ancient Greek stories meets noir = Greek Street. It's a great read.

This list is awesome! Thanks so much for putting it together!

directed at foxy, its not just Whedon's interpretation, its how BKV originally wrote Xavin.

Sorry, but I strongly reject Whedon's interpretation. Skrulls have never been portrayed as changing their gender out of sensitivity to humans or under stress, in fact they've usually seen the shape shifting as a disguise in that they're born with a definite sex and appearance. Making Xavin change his entire identity and rewriting the way a whole species deals with gender to make a teenaged romance less complicated it insulting.

Xavin (Runaways) is transgender I agree, but he/she does not identify as male: the character is, on evidence, ambiguous and possibly conflicted about his/her own identity; judging from BKV's run. Xavin is male or female according to the situation as she/he sees it (Skrulls have a curious sensitivity to gender roles for a race of shapeshifters) and reflecting Xavin's state of mind: Xavin feels the male form is better suited for expressing dominance & power, for example. Joss Whedon wrote in that Xavin conforms to a female form when stressed as a reflection of his/her psychological identity. Accepting that implication, it would make Xavin a transgendered female.

Also, I'm not much of a comics buff, but I couldn't find any connections between Foxglove and Hazel McNamara and the titles they are listed as from? I am familiar with them from the Sandman series and the Death graphic novels.

There's a list of Lilith Warren's appearances here. She comes out in issue 9 when Hundred's in the hospital. She first appears in issue 8 when her team breaks into Gracie Mansion to talk about the death of Hundred's old NSA handler. In issue 46 she calls about "The Stars Are Down" static and mentions her wife.

Just a heads up, you have Hundred listed in bright blue, you probably meant for it to be black.
